From an approved case workspace, you can generate transaction summary reports that capture the scoped data for your investigation, download those reports as compliance exports, and review a detailed activity log showing every action taken within the case. These tools give you a complete, exportable record of your investigation that you can share with stakeholders or retain for compliance purposes.

Permissions required

Different report and activity actions require different permissions. Confirm with your Application Administrator that you have the permissions you need before getting started.

Generate a case report

1

Open an approved case

From Case Review in the sidebar, find and open an approved case that you are assigned to.
2

Open the Reports tab

Inside the case workspace, click the Reports tab.
3

Start report generation

Click Generate report and select the report type from the options presented.
4

Confirm scope and submit

Review the case scope shown — this confirms the period and disclosure fields the report will cover. Submit to begin generation.
5

Download the report

Once generation completes, the report appears as a row in the Reports tab. Click Download on the report row to save the export file.
Report generation and download are separate actions that require separate permissions. You need reports:create to generate a report and reports:download to download it. If you can generate but not download — or vice versa — contact your Application Administrator to review your permissions.

View case activity

The Activity tab gives you a chronological log of everything that has happened within the case — who accessed transaction data, who generated reports, and when each action occurred. This log is read-only and scoped to the case.
1

Open an approved case workspace

From Case Review, open the approved case whose activity you want to review.
2

Open the Activity tab

Click the Activity tab in the case workspace.
3

Browse the activity log

Review the list of activity entries. Each entry shows the actor, the action taken, and the timestamp. Use this log to verify the chain of custody for your investigation.

View application-level reports

In addition to case-level reports, the Reports page in the application workspace shows all reports that have been generated for that application — not just the ones associated with your cases. This gives Application Administrators and auditors with broader access a complete view of reporting activity across all investigations in the workspace. To access application-level reports, navigate to the Reports page from the application workspace sidebar. This view requires the reports:list permission.
