Once an Application Administrator approves your disclosure request, an investigation case is created and you can begin reviewing transaction data. The data you see is scoped to the period and disclosure fields approved for your case — you will not see records outside that boundary. This guide walks you through opening an approved case and inspecting the transaction records within it.

Before you begin

Make sure all of the following are true before you attempt to review case transactions:
  1. You are assigned to the investigation case.
  2. The case status is Approved.
  3. Your account has the reports:view_transactions permission.
  4. The case access window has not expired.
If any of these conditions are not met, contact your Application Administrator.

Review case transactions

1

Sign in and open the application workspace

Sign in to the Arcane Auditing Portal and select the application workspace that contains your case.
2

Open Case Review

In the sidebar, click Case Review. You will see a list of cases and requests associated with your account.
3

Find your approved case

Use the search bar and status filters to locate approved cases assigned to you. Filter by Approved to narrow the list.
4

Open the case

Click the case row to open the case workspace.
5

Open the Review tab

Inside the case workspace, click the Review tab.
6

Inspect the transaction table

Browse the transaction table. It shows deposits, withdrawals, and transfers that fall within the approved transaction period. Use the available filters to narrow your view as needed.

What you can see

The fields shown in the transaction table depend on the disclosure scope that was approved for your case. Not all fields are visible in every case — access is granted on a per-field basis when the disclosure request is created and approved.
FieldWhen visible
Transaction IDsWhen full_tx_ids was included in the approved disclosure scope
Sender informationWhen sender_information was included in the approved disclosure scope
Recipient and withdrawal detailsWhen withdrawal_details was included in the approved disclosure scope
Fields outside your approved disclosure scope are hidden or shown as restricted. If you need access to additional fields, a new disclosure request must be submitted and approved.

Access window

Every approved case has a time-bound access window set when the disclosure request was submitted. Once the access window expires, the case data is no longer accessible — even if the case status remains Approved. If you need more time to complete your review, contact your Application Administrator. They can advise on whether the access window can be extended. From the case workspace you can also:
  • Generate and download reports — click the Reports tab to create a transaction summary export for the case.
  • View assigned auditors — click the Case Auditors tab to see which team members are assigned to the case.
  • Review case activity — click the Activity tab to see a log of all actions taken within the case, including who accessed data and when.
